Dutch Walton (Me & The Other Guys)

Frank “Dutch Walton” was a mainstay of Tampa Bay night life for many years, headlining with his band “Me & The Other Guys”.  From Dino’s to The Ramada Inn circuit and then some, Me & The Other Guys were a big smash, and Dutch Walton was the reason.

WALTON, FRANK "DUTCH," 58, of Tampa, died Saturday (Feb. 11, 2006) at University Community Hospital in Tampa. Born in Fulda, Germany, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1960 from Cleveland, before moving to Tampa in 1977.

He began his career as a lead singer for a band called Me and the Other Guys before becoming a merchandise manager for both Busch Gardens in Tampa and Universal Studios in Orlando.

He was a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Terry; a daughter, Jennifer Permenter; two sons, Ryan and Jarod, all of Tampa; his mother, Marianne; a sister, Shirley A. Carson, both of St. Petersburg; and four grandchildren.
