The Eldorados

They were the house band for the late Moose Vosburg’s various teen clubs like The Gandy Ball Room, The Electric Zoo, and the Eldorado Showcase. The Eldorados were headed by a guy who would go on to the big time with the Blues Image and Iron Butterfly, Mike Pinera.

Pinera, Donny Vosburg and others formed a great house band, versatile enough to do their own material, and to back up big acts who would headline at the clubs. They also played many WLCY Super Star Spectaculars backing up people like Gene Pitney.
