Chuck
Alton (CEASIR) Chuck began a life-long career in broadcasting
in the early 60's during High School (Boca Ciega) at WILZ "Radio
WILZ on the Holiday Isles", as a trainee. From there to WGGG in Gainesville while attending
U of F. Back in Tampa Bay in '68, Chuck was News Director of the
then new WFSO in Pinellas Park. But FSO was destined to Rock and
Chuck (The Swingin' Ceasir) created the Dinamensional First 57
and went heads up with WLCY. Alton also worked for WSUN, WCWR
and WDAE FM until the early 70's when he moved to Phoenix to work
at an all new all news KTAR. From '72 to '78, Alton built 2 studios in
Phoenix and recorded commercials for nearly every Ad Agency in
Az. After selling Studio A, Alton was Station Manager for new
station KLFF-AM, formerly KRUX, and ran that station until moving
to Los Angeles to syndicate music for Radio Arts Syndication.
In the 80's, Alton Executive Produced the First Global Town Meetings,
international talk shows syndicated worldwide. Alton also Executive
Produced the World Radio programming for the 1985 broadcast phenomenon
"Live Aid". This 17 hour Global concert broke new ground
in the use of satellite technology as a broadcast delivery system. Today, Alton is heard throughout California
and the West as voice talent on Radio and TV commercials for major
retail accounts. Alton currently has a studio nestled in the San
Bernardino National Forest where he e-mails his voice tracks to
studios and stations daily. His daughter, Remise, delivered by nurse Linda
Blush, wife of former news reporter Ray Blush (WTVT-13), turns
30 in October '02 and is a massage therapist at the famed Belagio
Hotel in Las Vegas. Alton says "Most of my best memories
in Radio are back in the days when I worked and partied with the
incomparable Tedd Webb who continues to be my brother".
Alton will be age 56 in October '02.
