Where Are They Now?

Cigar Dave
"The General"

Cigar Dave is the creator and host of the Cigar Dave Show (formerly Smoke This!) the acclaimed nationally syndicated radio show devoted to the Cigar Lifestyle.

Cigar Dave's first broadcast occurred in July 1995 with one hour on WSUN Radio in Tampa, Florida. The show became an instant hit with his loyal army of "Cigar Lieutenants" and quickly expanded to two hours. Cigar Dave began national syndication in December 1995 with four stations. The Cigar Dave Show now originates from 970-WFLA in Tampa.

From his opening greeting of "Long Ashes" to the national cigar lighting ritual, Cigar Dave provides his loyal cigar lieutenants with current news and information regarding Cigars, Spirits, and other lifestyle diversions in a Las Vegas “Rat Pack Lounge” Atmosphere.

Always truthful, blunt and politically incorrect, the General also leads the charge against America's self-anointed pleasure police and “do-gooders”.

The General's list of titles include: The King of Coronas, the Pope of Panatelas, the Rabbi of Robustos, the Sultan of Smoke, the Professor of Puff, the Prince of Pleasure, the Cigar Sommelier, and Connoisseur-in-Chief.

The Cigar Dave Show is broadcast Saturday afternoon's from Noon-2:00 PM Eastern Time on over 90 radio stations across the United States, XM Satellite Radio Channel 165, and is also heard on the internet at www.cigardave.com.

Cigar Dave is a native of Buffalo, New York, and a 1986 graduate of Syracuse University. He traces his love of cigars to his grandfather, "Cigar Abe", who faithfully enjoyed Tampa’s own Gold Label Cigars for many years.

When not pontificating about cigars and life's other pleasures, he enjoys being serviced by his harem!
