Courtney J. Campbell

This lady is one of the funniest humans God created, locally you know her best from her days as co host to Paul Gonzalez on “Desperate & Dateless”, a show they later syndicated nationally. It was on their program Tedd Webb proposed to Trudy, even called her father on the air, asking for her hand.

Courtney J. Campbell is actually Joyce Mercer,a talented radio entertainer, who credits include a very successful stint as Program Director for WIRA in Fort Pierce. She took that station from a 3.5 share to an 11.8 in a short period of time. It was there she worked for Jim Chaplin (also listed on “Where Are They Now?”)

Courtney was part of the original Power Pig, and did special features on Gardner and Company on WFLA..

Courtney underwent some serious health problems a few years back, stricken with breast cancer and a brain tumor. All in a days work she will tell you. She has recovered completely, and has resumed her work doing video biographies in her studio. Her advice..”you gotta stay creative!”
