Dave
Mann Dave Mann, originally from Gary, Indiana. Started
full-time in radio in 1973 after playing professional baseball
in the Midwest League. Dave's travels included WMEE FT. Wayne,
WOKY Milwaukee, WIVY Jacksonville, and over 20 years in the Tampa
- St. Petersburg market at radio stations like 98 Rock where he
did afternoon drive, Q-105 and afternoon drive, 93-3 FLZ and middays
for eleven years, U-92 and afternoon drive where he retired from
radio fulltime in December 2000. Dave, soon to be 49 years old, still plays
baseball in the MSBL for the Tampa Stars and has settled in to
his own production company, Dave Mann, Inc. in which he does radio
and television voice-overs for over 80 clients nationwide. He
has appeared on-camera in over 30 infomercials and currently appears
nationwide on "The 800 Credit Hotline". He is also the
voice for the PBS series "The Genocide Factor", which
has already won two national awards and you can hear him on "The
Directors" series where he narrates the bios of great film
directors like Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorcese, Barry Levinson,
George Lucas, Clint Eastwood and over 40 others. In Dave's radio career of 28 years, he has
won two Billboard DJ of the Years awards and many other regional
and local awards. Dave's claim to fame was to do more in 10 seconds
