Dean Drapin

A great guy from New York who came to Florida to study at Tampa U. he worked at the college station before starting work at WPKM, with Tedd Webb, Daylon Rushing, and Dave Harrell. Dean would late work at WINQ with Mel Berman, at WLCY and then finally at WTVT Ch 13.

Dean was blessed with a great set of pipes and was the booth announcer in addition to on air work.

Dean says "I am working as a stagehand in Tampa out of I.A.T.S.E. Local 321 (International Alliance of State and Theatrical Employees and Allied Crafts and Services of the United States and Canada). I basically set up booths at conventions, and work on stage at the Performing Arts Center and Ruth Eckerd. I have the most fun at the "Oldies" concerts -- I wonder why?"
