Dick Ring

The rich, warm voice of WDUV morning personality Dick Ring, has been entertaining listeners in the Tampa Bay area for the past twenty years.

Most of that time has been spent gently nudging listeners awake and sending them out into the world armed with the latest news, weather and traffic information... and a feeling you’re driving to work with a friend.

Dick has that facility. He turns listeners into friends. The screamers and shouters come and go in today’s radio market and you don’t last long unless you have something genuine to offer the listeners; which is, no doubt, why Dick is by far, one of the top morning personalities in the Tampa Bay area.

When Dick left his native New England and moved to Florida, it was love at first sight. Over the years, he’s become one of the boosters and practitioners of the Florida lifestyle.

If you had to pin it down, however, I guess you’d have to say that it’s that special "one-on-one relationship" with his audience that has made Dick Ring one of the most popular and enduring professionals on the air today.
