Where Are They Now?

"Domino" Dom Theodore

Dom Theodore aka Domino worked at 93.3FLZ starting in 1994 and was an impact player from the get go. A real ‘Radio Guy’, Dom loves the biz and is a student of it.

Domino is what some of the ole timers would call a ‘throwback’ to the Golden Era. A brilliant DJ, tight board, bright, energetic, always aware of the circumstances

Domino’s Radio Career:
WHYT [Detroit MI] 1987
WDFX [Detroit] 1990-1991
WIOG [Saginaw MI] 1988-1992
WTCF [Saginaw] 1992
WFLZ [Tampa FL] 1994
KRBE [Houston TX] 2001

Update 6/1/2003:

I left KRBE in 1/2002 and I'm now OM of WKQI / WDFN / WXDX Detroit, as well as a Clear Channel CHR Brand Manager. My son Jonathon was born in December of 2001.

Tampa Bay will always be my second home... it was such a fantastic city to me. I owe most of what I have in life to my years at WFLZ where I walked in the door as a part-time air personality (my first check was $14 from the Power Pig - true story), and left as the Program Director 8 years later. I owe a great debt to all of the wonderful people in Tampa who gave me a chance - especially BJ Harris, Jeff Kapugi, Dave Reinhart, Gabe Hobbs, Brian James, Brad James, and Sue Treccase.

From hosting the Power Jam on Saturday nights, to working in production with Brad James, to Music Director, late night air personality, midday personality, and eventually PD (and even fill-in talk show host on WFLA!) - Tampa is really where I grew up personally and professionally.

My wife and I still visit often - my in-laws still live there and when I get to town I always visit them and my radio family at 4002 Gandy.

Thank you Tedd for including me on your site... It really brought back alot of memories about a great city and great time in my life.
