Glenn
Beck Glenn was a classic radio baby, starting at
age13 at KBRC in Mt Vernon, Washington. BY age 16, Glenn was part
of the regular air staff at KUBE. Beck had later stops at WPGC in Washington
DC, KOY-FM in Phoenix, KKBE in Houston, and WBSB in Baltimore. Glenn had been programming the Clear Channel
station in Connecticut , and started his talk career part time
at WELI, New Haven, and also WABC in New York City. Beck came to Newsradio 970 WFLA on January
3rd of 2000, and started his syndicated national show on January
3rd 2002. Glenn Beck now has over 100 stations carrying his program. Randy Michaels, former CEO at Clear Channel
describes Beck as “the sound of Talk radio for the 2000s.”
