Howie
Castle
Howie Castle is another
of those well traveled radio folk. Before becoming a programming
legend, Howie had been a DJ and was an original member of "Radio
Caroline" a pirate radio station operating off the coast
of England. Castle used the named Bud Ballou while working in
England.
Howie came back to the USA and started programming
radio stations. After leaving Syracuse New York, Howie came to
town to program the Bill Hennes consulted station WLCY in Tampa
Bay.
Howie is now the weekday co-anchor on the KOGO
morning newsblock, 5-9am and also does hourly updates nationally
for Clear Channel, 9am-3pm ET.
