James Edward Duval
came to Tampa Bay from Indiana where had been a very successful
Program Director. JED as he was called, headed up WFLA after Bill
Garcia left the station in 1984.
JED’s style was easy going, and very effective
as a manager. He left WFLA after General Manager Mike Geier passed
away in the late 80's and headed back to Indiana.
