"The Weird Beard" Dart
Another of the legendary WLCY Jox of the early
1960s, Johnny (swoosh) Dart, was a big hit. Huge ratings during
his air shifts at the Gandy Blvd powerhouse.
Johnny left 'LCY Radio for a brief stint at
the (then new) Channel 10. From there to Columbus, GA., Sarasota,
FL., Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
