Johnny Stevens

Johnny was a graduate of Tampa’s Robinson High and started working at WLCY in the early 1970s while he was still in high school. He started working weekends, then evolved into the night time jock and music director.

Stevens had a lot of energy and loved his career on the radio. The most enthusiastic jock you could find. Johnny Stevens always had fun on the air.

Johnny learned the management end of the business very well and ended up moving to Phoenix where he headed up a very large broadcast company’s program-ming department.

Johnny and his family settled in Arizona, that is where he makes his home now.
