Lisa
Cohen
Lisa first surfaced
in Tampa Bay in the late 70s and early 80s. Spunky, and full of
piss and vinegar, she was a go getter.
Lisa evolved into a top notch traffic reporter
in the Bay area, starring at WUSA FM 101 as well as WFLA and other
area call letters.
Lisa sued Bob & Judd for sexual harassment
in the mid 90s, winning a settlement that enabled her to open
a Psychic Café in Ybor City at the height of the
gold rush.
Cohen had been engaged to TVs Maury Povich,
and romantically connected to Ch 8s Bob Hite and Steve Nichols,
who later worked at Fox 13.
Lisa Cohen passed away from ovarian cancer
in March of 2003. Here is her obit published in the Tribune.
