Chicago born Mike Sutton
was a young 22 years old when he went to work at Q105 in 1974.
He started radio at
age 17 in a small town in Illinois, worked there 5 years before
leaving to come work in Tampa Bay. He was quoted once as
saying “ I will be spinning the hits til I reach that Great
Turntable in The Sky”.
Mike passed away a few years ago, having fought
a tough battle with the bottle.
