Page says "As for my work in Tampa Bay, I
started out on WFSO with a half-hour Sunday morning talk show.
I was
there
but a few months before I was offered a talk show on WDAE by
Ed Ripley who was the Program Director at the time. My co-host
was Mark Champion. The program aired once a week on Thursday
nights. I also had a 30 minute TV program on WLCY Channel 10 at
6:30 am for 13 weeks.
"I went from Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale where
I had a six-night a week talk show on WFTL. From there I went
to KTAR in Phoenix,
and then on to KMPC in Los Angeles where I had a 5-hour talk
show on Saturday nights. I did this for two years. I was also
a regular, daily feature with Gary Owens on his afternoon drive
show. That was great fun! Also, for 7 years, by telephone, I
did a morning drive show with Scott Cassidy on WTLK in Pittsburgh,
Pa."
"I was in radio 14 years. And I sure do miss
it. I would get back into it in a New York minute." |
