Scott Robbins ( Special Tribute )

Scott Robbins (54 yrs old) has passed away, his body was found by friends. Neighbors noticed his newspapers piling up at the door to his apartment.

Scott was the best "oldies" disc jockey in Tampa Bay. He worked at WHBO, WYUU, and also at FM97.1. He was synonymous with "Good Time Rock N Roll". Previous to Tampa He had worked at WGLI, WBAB-AM/FM, WHLI (Long Island) and WPIX-FM.

Anyone who worked with or knew Scott was very fond of him. Great personality, a great promoter of radio, and just a damn talented individual. He will be missed by all of his fans and his family.

Scott had fallen on hard times recently, and had struggled with alcohol. He fought those demons until the very end. May God shine eternal light on his soul.
