Stephen Stills

Little known fact, Stephen Stills of the famous “Buffalo Springfield”, & “Crosby, Stills & Nash”, is a favorite son. During his formative teen years, this Tampanian was a student at Plant High School on Dale Mabry.

Stills loves the area, knows quite a bit about it.

During a recent visit I asked him if he really knew any Spanish like what he yells in the tail end of “Sweet Judy Blue Eyes” ? He does, and proceeded to explain he grew up in Tampa, knew the language and ate the foods. He is a very close friend of Joe Lala and Mike Pinera, two local Tampa bananas who made it big in Rock & Roll music, and were involved with Stephen professionally.

Stephen has sold more LPs and CDs than you can imagine, and though he does not spend any time in Tampa Bay anymore, he treasures the tour stops here.

This member of the Rock & Roll hall of Fame has made Tampa proud.
