Ted Carreras

Ted was a tremendous amateur wrestler before getting into radio. He engineered the overnight show on WFLA before taking over for Mitch Wilkins as producer of “The Sports Huddle” with Tedd Webb in 1985.

Ted was known for his voracious appetite, capable of devouring huge amounts of food in a very short period. Ted would often serve a very good purpose, cleaning out the refrigerator at the station in downtown Tampa. He did this without the food owners permission.

Ted got out of radio in 1992 and headed to San Antonio Texas with his wife Anita and now works in the medical supplies business.
