Tim
Watters Tim Watters was a hard working real estate
salesman in the Temple Terrace area in the 80's and 90's until
his ship came in with the election of President William Jefferson
Clinton. It wasn't long before people started doing a double-take
when they saw him...he was a dead ringer for the President. With some encouragement, Watters left the real
estate business to play Bill Clinton at national business conventions,
parties, conferences, and just about any place his agent could
book him. He quickly learned how profitable it was to have the
luck to look like the President. It wasn't long before Hollywood started calling.
Over the last ten years, he has made hundreds of appearances on
the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and several movies,
one with Adam Sandler... another with Jodie Foster, "1997's
"Contact," directed by Robert Zemeckis. Watters says he was usually the big attraction
on the TV and movies sets, with the stars eager to be photographed
with him. He met Clinton once, who commented that he thought Watters
was better looking. On another occasion, Hillary Clinton was almost
fooled by Tim's similar looks to her husband. For a time during the Clinton impeachment proceeds,
appearances slowed to a crawl for Watters but eventually increased
as time passed. But presidents don't stay in office forever. While
Watters still makes occasional appearances as Mr. President, he
spends most of his time handling his investments, spending time
with his family, and looking for good real estate deals. |
