Wes Sarginson

Wes Sarginson, a well-known Atlanta journalist, returned to the area to join the 11Alive News Team and now serves as co-anchor of 11Alive News at 6 & 11 p.m each weekday.

Wes Sarginson is an award-winning journalist with a broad-casting career that spans more than 33 years.

That career began in the 60's at WKAB-TV in Montgomery, Ala. Following that, he worked at WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, KYW-TV in Philadelphia, Westinghouse Broadcasting and Cable, Inc., and spent six years as an anchor at WSB-TV in Atlanta.

Prior to joining 11Alive News, Wes spent nine years as primary anchor for WFLA-TV in Tampa, FL.

Wes has appeared in a movie with Burt Reynolds.
