Firebird
From Left To Right:
Pete McKay -bass
David White -keys
Mark Keur -drums
Stephen Griggs -guitar
In '73 Koco was formed
with David White, Mark Keur, Terry Bolliea (Hulk Hogan) and
Stephen Griggs. Terry was replaced with Brad Prince, who went
on to play in Stinger. Pete McKay then joined Koco and the name
changed to Freebird and after Leonard Skynard released that
named recording, changed the name to Firebird. Firebird booked
out of Atlanta and successfully played throughout the Southeast.
That band was incredible, covering such material as Yes, Led
Zepplin, Allman Bros., King Crimson, Steeley Dan and Chick Corea.
We returned home to woodshed for a proposed recording opprtunity
only to fall prey to the Disco craze and disband in '76. More
