Ron & Ron

They were light years ahead of what Bubba 'The Love Sponge' is doing on his show in 2002, they were on the cutting edge in the late 80s and early 90s, they were 95YNF's Bad Boys, Ron & Ron. They featured an entourage of co stars like Fez Marie Whatley, Billy The Phone Freak, Fast Eddie, Gary Spivey, Flipper, Malibu Mo and others..

They constantly posted the highest ratings in their time period. They were not just the talk of the town, they were the talk of Florida, where their program was syndicated.

All good things must come to an end, and Ron & Ron ended on a somewhat sour note. After an embarrassing drug episode where Ron Bennington's daughter accidentally took the date rape drug thinking it was an aspirin, things went downhill. The relationship between the 2 Ron's was not the same.

Bennington took on another Ron, but it was not the same, and the show was cancelled. Bennington took Fez with him and they now host a show at WNEW-FM in New York City.

Ron Diaz has Laurie Brown as a partner and hosts the morning show at Thunder 103.5, produced by Bill The Phone Freak.
