Ward Smith

Two comics who added extra punch to the Q105 effort, Ward Smith and Dan Chapelow not only did the bits on the air, but wrote a great deal of the material used on the program.

Ward is the son of former Ch 13 News legend Hugh Smith, and worked many comedy clubs through out Florida and beyond as a stand up. During the early 1990s he hosted a TV show live from Ybor City’s Columbia Restaurant.

Smith works at an ad agency and is married to Fox 13’s Nancy Alexander, they have a beautiful family and reside in Tampa Bay.
