Al Gore takes the cake. He does, and he believes people still believe he tells the truth.

In 1991 Gore, then a Senator from Tennessee spoke about the Gulf War, and defended President George Herbert Walker Bush. Gore said President Bush did the right thing by not following Saddam Hussein’s army into Baghdad. Gore claimed the UN resolution was to free Kuwait, not to bring down the government of Iraq.

Al Gore has a shoddy memory, for just this week he blasted then President Bush for not finishing the war in 1991.

Gore is trying to position himself for another presidential run in 2004. Al is as sly as ever, he just doesn’t come off as polished. He plays politics at every stop, promising to be “himself” this time around. Does Al even know who “himself” is? Gore has been role-playing for so long, he really doesn’t know how he feels about anything without taking a poll, and then he brackets his comments so he can later claim to have “not said that at all”.

Al Gore is the precise reason why so many Americans stay away from the polls. Politicians like him have sullied the system so badly, decent folks just don’t to bother with the system. The system is poisoned by the politicians with no sense of common decency, who think they are “getting over” on the electorate. We are viewed as fools, people who will buy any story.

Al Gore learned at the foot of the master, but he is not as sharp, he is not as believable. Al Gore, please spare us the nursery rhymes in 2004, go home, retire, write another book on pseudo science that will scare the bejesus of folks who don’t know any better.

That's how I see it!
