This is a test of the American resolve. The deaths sustained in fierce fighting in Afghanistan are a true test of the will of the American people.

Some have said privately "wait till the first battlefield deaths are recorded, America will run, the people will take to the streets protesting the war". Hey you better buckle up. You don't know America 2002. This is a new spirit, a sprit that will prevail in the fight against terrorism.

Many underestimated the American resolve because of the many times this nation turned "the other cheek" when it's military barracks and ships were blindsided. Many felt America would run like it did in Mogadishu. They just did not know the soul of the American people, and the leadership of the new guy in charge, George W. Bush.

I think by now, people like Usama bin Laden and Mullah Omar know they made a serious mistake. By now Saddam Hussein is wishing he would not have been so bold as to kick out UN weapons inspectors. Yemen wishes it did not allow members of Al Qaeda to bomb the USS Cole. As Carole King would say, "it's too late baby".

The time has come for those that threaten tranquility around the globe to pay the price. There is no defeating the terrorist, you have to eliminate them, annihilate them, and erase them.

As long as one terrorist is allowed to breath, there will be no peace on earth.

That's how I see it!
