Another homicide bombing in Israel, morning drive time, many children on the targeted bus. Hamas once again claims credit. Same old song isn't it?

President Bush is floating a trial balloon about an interim Palestinian state. I doubt seriously this will come about. The Jews will not agree to such a thing as long as there is violence. Hamas does not want a Palestinian state, they want to annihilate Israel. This is hardly a recipe for peace.

As crude as it may sound, let them go at it, and the winner dictate the terms of existence. This is the natural process of peace, the winner dictates the terms. I do not see nay other way to settle this dispute than to let them shoot it out til the finish.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have endeared themselves only to the US media, who have become apologist for the dastardly acts know as homicide bombings. Reporter after reporter we have on the air from the network goes out of their way to implicate the Jews as being responsible. The term "occupied Jerusalem" always works its way into their reports. Technically that is not "occupied" land, it is "conquered land". Must we revisit the 1967 war results?

President Bush has lost favor with many Conservatives lately, and pushing for a Palestinian state at this time will only lose a few more from the core believers.

If the Palestinians want a home land, they will have to get it on terms other than through homicide bombings. That dog won't hunt !
