The deaths of children at the hands of kidnappers and baby sitters should not shock us. Not really. We have been declaring war on children for the better part of 30 years, and we now see some clear cut results.

Some may not like what I am about to say, but too bad. We have been aborting children, that’s right babies, legally since 1973. We have been murdering them by the millions. I don’t want to hear this crapola of it being a ”fetus”, it’s a beating heart you stop.

We also have been excusing step fathers for killing step children left in their care. We find ways to reason why a step dad would kill a 2 year old he was baby sitting.

We have declared “open season” on babies, and now wonder why someone would take the life of a 5 year old child, after brutally raping her. You wonder? I don’t, I know why! We as a society are desensitized to killing babies.

We don’t allow the 10 Commandments to be placed on school or court house walls. I would settle for allowing us to place 2 of the Commandments on the walls;

1. Thou shalt not kill
2. Thou shalt not steal

What is wrong with placing these two moral codes on school walls? This is something a good society would endorse, why don’t we?

We have created a society of heathens and we can not understand why we behave as such.
