Miguel Estrada, an immigrant from Honduras. Young man becomes an attorney, an exceptional attorney. Miguel has tried 15 cases before the Supreme Court. Sounds like a poster boy for the Democratic Party, but he is not. You see -- Miguel Estrada did not pass the ultimate litmus test to be a successful Hispanic, his ideology. Miguel Estrada is a Republican.

The Democratic Party is upset Miguel has not answered how he would rule on abortion cases that should come before him. The Democrats find this insubordination to warrant a filibuster keeping him from being confirmed for the US Court of Appeals.

Miguel has the votes to be confirmed, but they can not get a straight up vote because of the Democratic filibuster. It is minority rule at its best.

The Democratic Party would be fighting to get him confirmed if he were pro abortion. The Dems would call those keeping him from confirmation racists. But Miguel Estrada is a free thinker, his ethnicity did not make him an automatic Democrat. This is a mortal sin among Democrats, a Hispanic not being Democrat. It’s unforgivable, and he must be punished.

Same goes for blacks who dare be Republican. Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell can attest to that, as can former Congressman J.C. Watts.

If you are going to be a successful minority in this country, you better be a Democrat, or you will be treated the way Democrats claim Republicans treat minorities. How hypocritical.

That's how I see it!
