There is a silence coming from Hollywood. The silence is deafening.

Could it be the success of Operation Iraqi Freedom, could it be Iraqi citizens actually greeting our servicemen in the streets with high fives and cheers? Is it the possible death of Saddam Hussein bringing sorrow to the ranks of the Hollywood division of the Republican Guard?

There is not much to cheer about in Hollywood, there is a feeling of absolute failure at stopping this great Allied victory. The make believe president Martin Sheen has not been heard from, maybe he is at the make believe Camp David?

Cher is so downtrodden she is calling it quits again. This IS her farewell tour she promises.

Sheryl is eating crow, no peace shirts on the horizon.

I guess Hollywood realizes they have very little power in influencing the way America feels. No Dixie Chick, no Patty Smythe, no Sean Penn could stop this country from doing the right thing. In the age of the Internet, cable TV and talk radio, they can no longer “talk trash” and not expect to be hauled out with the rest of the garbage.

Can you say irrelevant? Then say it!

That's how I see it!
