Neville Chamberlain is rolling over in his grave. The famed
Brit who was known as the “Grand Appeaser” to Hitler, must be
shuttering knowing what Spain did as a country this past week.
4 days before the general election, an Al Qaeda faction operating
out of Madrid proved you can influence an election with a little
terrorist activity. The train bombers have now set a trend,
bomb right before an election, fear will dictate the results.
Britain and Australia are now on alert, as we should be on October
30th, 2004.
Spain, reeling from the anguish, and anger at their own government
who tried to pin the blame on ETA, the Basque separatists who
in the past have conducted terrorist activity, decided to cash
in the chips, write it off to bad luck. They are going to withdraw
troops from the war on terror.
Do they think Al Qaeda will now just leave them alone and attack
everyone else? They don't understand the mindset. This
is just the beginning of hard times for Spain, and unfortunately,
for the rest of Europe.
That's How I see it!
