Welcome to “Political Bandstand” with your host Dick Clarke! That's
what I am hearing in my head when I read about Richard Clarke's
new tell all book about the Bush administration not doing enough
to combat terror. If you read Clarke's effort, you will
hear the talking points from the DNC, the Democratic National
Committee. The message is clear, Bush wanted to finish
off the war his Dad didn't.
Truth, Bush senior could not go into Baghdad, the United Nations
mission was to kick Saddam out of Kuwait, not to invade Baghdad.
Truth, Clarke is closely aligned with the John Kerry for President
Campaign.
Need I say more? In past elections, the left would have
a movie released just before the election portraying the Republican
as a mean Senator from Kansas. Remember that one from 1996?
The left is using all weapons in an effort to remove Bush, not
because he has not done a good job, but because they think he
stole the 2000 elections. Anger fuels this campaign. Anger
got the Democrats nothing in 2002, and it will fall flat on it's
face in 2004.
