12 more Marines lost their lives in battles in a city outside of Fallujah, 12
more lives that did not need to die. Young men in the prime of their lives.
So sad.
I had the pleasure of speaking to General Jack Keene this week, former Commander
of the “101st Airborne, The Screaming Eagles” I asked him point blank why
we didn't just destroy Fallujah, a Sunni stronghold, killing everything and everyone,
and let God sort them out? The General said “this was America, and we did
not do things like that”. Well General, the Islamists know that, and take
advantage of our morals. It's time we trick them and show them we do things
like that when it means saving precious American lives.
Tell the mothers and fathers of those dead Marines that “we don't do things like
that”. It is time we flatten Fallujah as well as any other city in Iraq
that poses a threat to our young Soldiers, Marines and Air Men. It's time America
show Iraq who is boss, who is the Big Dog.
I am certain we would only have to do this one time, before the rest of the Middle
East gets a grip and realizes, you don't things like that to America!
