Oh Danny Boy, Oh Danny Boy, you’ve heard the song
before, now its chants calling for his retirement. Dan
Rather did his profession a great disservice this past month. He
let his political persuasion, and that of his producer Mary Mapes,
get in the way of fair and balanced.
No more will the unwashed masses put an credence into the words
coming from Rather. This past episode at CBS News was just one
of many that have left a sour tastes in people’s mouths.
Rather is very biased, and he proved Bernard Goldberg’s
book to be true. Goldberg wrote the book 4 years ago and alleged
bias at CBS, he was shunned, a pariah. Now we know Bernie was
telling the truth, something CBS should try.
We witnessed the end of an era this week, an era where the so
called “mainstream” media used its power to try to
sway voters to the Democratic Party. They have been a shill for
the Dems for so long, it just seemed normal, like the propaganda
wing of the elitist. They still will be, but at least now you
know what they tell you is just what the Liberal talking points
are for the week.
