Big win for the Democrats, Sinclair Broadcast
Group has decided to only air part of the documentary critical
of John Kerry’s Vietnam war record, this amidst threats
they would face legal action if they did not drop it all together.
Seems Democrats feel the documentary was a blatant political statement disguised
as news. Now let me see, does Michael Moore come to mind? His effort Fahrenheit
911 was viewed as gospel by Hollywood, it won the Cannes Film Festival
Award, although it is nothing more than a commercial against George W Bush. Moore
wanted to show it on national TV on election eve. Where were the Democrats
charging it was a blatant political statement? I still hear conversations among
them quoting passages from the movie as though it were real.
I guess we should be used to this double standard by now. If a politician visits
a black church, speaks during services, the minister encourages his congregation
to vote for this person, its OK as long as it is a Democrat in a black church.
Let a white minister even suggest from the pulpit his sheep should vote conservative,
and we have Democrats threatening to have the church’s tax exempt status
removed.
At the risk of being too Orwellian, I guess some pigs are more equal than others.
That’s How I See It!
