Newsweek Magazine just stepped in big time. We are not shocked anymore, seems like all of the rags, mags, and TV networks have shown their true agenda over the last year. TV is showing it every day with Katie Couric, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, & PBS.
Instead of retracting the story to show Newsweek is remorseful, blame is cast on the Bush administration for not having an open communication with the journalists. I see, you didn’t tell us it was not true, so we assume it is? Let’s print it.
Newsweek’s action has stirred up a hornets nest, unrest in the Muslim world, who already believes the war on terror is a war on Islam. Being told the Koran was flushed down the toilet at Guantanamo Base to make captured terrorists speak up, was akin to throwing gasoline on an open fire. Newsweek knew the fire would spread, or they hoped it would.
Even the retraction was half assed, and loaded with less than sincere regrets. They are not sorry, mission accomplished. What is good for the left, is bad for this country. Liberals love bad news from the war front, it gives them fodder to burn the conservatives; even if the story is not true. Does the name Dan Rather ring a bell?
This agenda driven leftwing media could care less about 17 deaths in Afghanistan as a result of a story that lacked proof, they bury it in the back of the national section. But they sure do headline it on the front page when an Islamo Fascist is forced to wear women’s panties on his head.
Mainstream Media is not just anti Bush, and anti war, they are anti America.
