Senator Dick Durbin takes the cake, but he is not the only politician who is aiding and abetting our enemies in the Middle East. Every time Durbin, or someone of his ilk speaks out against the war, calling our soldiers the equivalent of Nazi Storm Troopers, there is more danger to our troops.
The enemy gets moral strength, they fight harder because they feel we will come apart at the seem like in Viet Nam when the press and student demonstrators caused the fall of Saigon, still in Communist hands as we speak.
Remember loose lips sinks ships? That was the motto from World War 2. It means shut up, you are helping the enemy.
Not so subtle attempts have been made, trying to Vietnamize the Iraq War, Forget about it, it ain’t going to happen. There was a one way street media wise back in the 60s and 70s, now there are many options to the truth.
The outrage over Abu Graib and Guantanamo are hilarious at best. These same people upset about prisoners being forced to wear panties on their heads never mention the torture chambers Saddam and his sons operated, not the beheadings at the hands of Osama wanna be’s in Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
I guess outage is selective, and very political.
