Jamie Gorelick, Janet Reno, Hilary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Sandy Berger, and yes Madeline Albright. Remember those names, for in my opinion, they have some blame in the September 11th disaster in 2001. These names were the architect of the Wall, the distance between domestic intelligence gathering and the CIA. Never the twain shall meet was the mindset.
It goes back to the early 70s when Sen. Frank Church, a Democrat, crafted the legislation so that the CIA could not share intel with the FBI. There was a paranoia as a result of Watergate, and Church and others set out to destroy any possible intelligence gathering on political dissidents. End result, the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing.
The CIA knew Mohamed Atta was trouble, he was in the sights of the intel community, they wanted to notify the FBI but were prohibited by lawyers from doing so. They feared “The Wall”.
Makes me wonder now what documents Sandy Berger was trying to steal from the National Archives. Could it have involved information pertaining to 911? Why did Jamie Gorelick not recuse herself from the 911 commission knowing she was investigating something she helped set up? Where they trying to save their old boss from embarrassment? Where they trying to re-write history?
And you are still thinking about bringing that old regime back? I doubt America could survive four years of that.
