Cindy Sheehan has made a lot of news lately, the poster child for anti war protesters.
Cindy is the bereaved mother who lost her son Casey in Iraq. She has been demanding a private audience with President Bush, she already had one previously. She wants to tell Bush how she will never be able to hear Casey’s voice again, or hold him again.
There is a story circulating on the internet claiming Cindy did not raise her son Casey, instead opting to let her ex husband and his wife raise him. Not true! Not true at all, check it out on Snopes. It is pure fabrication.
Cindy has only been married once, 28 years to the same guy who just recently filed for divorce from her, because of her political activism.
It’s OK to feel however you feel about Cindy, pro or con, but the truth is what is important here. She did not let anyone raise her child, she and her husband did.
I am not a Cindy Sheehan fan, but these fabrications serve no purpose.
