Some people plan heir visits to Arizona and Florida merely to watch spring training games, These folks dole out a ton of money in hotels, gasoline, food, entertainment, but this year they were short changed,

It appears Major League Baseball, with the blessing of the Commissioner Bud Selig, has endorsed its players taking part in the World Baseball Classic. Teams like the Yankees lose Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams and Al Leiter. May not seem like a bad thing for most people, but for die hard NY Yankees fans, it’s big time loss not seeing the boys of Summer in action in the Spring.

Yankee boss George Steinbrenner does not like it a bit and even apologized to his fans, but not baseball brass, they think it’s a cool thing to grand stand the American pastime to the world.

It was a waste of time. Take care of the American fans, they are the ones who made baseball great. Forget the goodwill ambassador thing and stick to the basics.

If I were a Spring Training season ticket holder, and especially if I had tickets to see the Yankees, I would ask for a refund. You can bet next year more people will wait to see if this World Baseball Classic returns before lining up to buy tickets to see the “B” team in action.
