It seems we are getting some advice from an editorial writer who feels America is too jingoistic and displaying too much machismo, and that is why we are hated by the Muslim world. Really?

I guess they would like us more, perhaps even love us if we just bent over for their every attack and just moved on. Ain’t gonna happen!

This “wussification” of America is what led us to this terrible state we are in. We had plenty of that in the last administration. We could have had bin Laden thanks to our friends in the Sudan, but “we lacked enough criminal evidence” according to Sandy Berger, who was then in charge of national security. That is what happens when you have “lawyers” running the country, they see it as a “criminal matter”, not a war.

Wake up and smell the IED, it is a war, a war we did not start. A war we need to fight, or face having to learn to speak in Arabic and memorize the Quran.

A gentle reminder of that mindset came yesterday when Hillary Clinton told Bill Clinton to shut up, that she was in charge of this presidential run and to clear everything he says with her first. Hillary’s staff is keeping a very close rein on Bill Clinton’s schedule so he does not embarrass her with his comments.

I would go with a Maggie Thatcher in a heartbeat, Golda Meir was a gem, but they had balls.

I do not see any one close to their ability among our declared female candidates.
