Sami Al Arian, soon to be deported, and copping a plea, admitting he did indeed raise funds for a terrorist organization.
Where is Salon.com and WMNF Radio? Two stellar supporters of the embattled former USF Prof, who chanted “death to Israel”. What have they to say about Sami’s innocence? Remember when they proclaimed he was innocent? Sami now admits he is not.
Sami escaped conviction from a jury on several of the federal charges brought on him, but there were some remaining and, the chance he could end up in federal prison for a long time. The WISE things to do was to cop a plea. A little play on words there.
Sami is but one of many college types who embrace the radical Muslim movement. These types are our enemies and must be dealt with. Sami has been dealt with, he will now be deported to some hell hole in the Middle East. He can join his radical brothers and be open about his hatred for America and the Jews.
For us in this country, one less radical to have under surveillance. One less threat to our stability, and one less ungrateful rat to be feeding off the trough.
