I hate to harp on it some more, but immigration merits a conversation. Have you noticed how the Congress is hesitant to do anything of significance in regards to stemming the flow of illegals?
Now if we read what our politicians want included in an immigration bill, it is very disturbing. The illegals would end up with more work place protection than you and I.
Do you know why? Politicians do not want to lose the Hispanic vote in 2006 or 2008. That is the only explanation for the lack of action we have witnessed. Gutless weasels with only re-election on their minds.
Guess what? Hispanics do not vote in blocks like other minorities. Talk to a Mexican, talk to a Cuban, talk to Puerto Ricans and talk to a Spaniard and you will discover quickly they do not agree on immigration issues. It is not one size fits all.
Do the right thing, look at the long run and see if we need an additional 190 million people in this country over the next 20 years? No we don’t.
You my friends will have a loud voice come November, send the spineless wimps a loud message, and get the incumbents out of there. They have not earned our trust, nor our votes.
That’s how I see it!
