What’s up with NASA? There was a time when NASA would never launch a mission where their Safety Director said was unsafe.
That was then and this is now. I guess NASA feels an obligation to the other countries that chipped in billions to build the space station. More of an obligation to them then the people who have trained extremely hard for these missions.
That seems to be the atmosphere prevailing over most Americans. The southeast corner of the financial statement, the bottom line. It’s a damn shame.
Yesterday, watching the 4th of July festivities, I wondered how many people are here for the right reason, and how many showed up just to see the fireworks?
We seem to have lost our way in the USA. It’s the almighty dollar that matters, that Green Jesus.
I think our founding fathers are turning in their graves. Thank God they can’t read the New York Times from where they are.
