I switched parties a while back, well switch is not the correct wording, I left the republican Party, and became “no party affiliation”. Every time I hear political ads on this station, I feel I made the right move.
Both the Republicans and Democrats are off base at this time. Neither party is catering to the mainstream. One party is way left, the other is starting to lean left.
I support George Bush in his war on terror 100%, no wavering there. I do not support the billions sent to New Orleans, now pledged to Lebanon. I do not support the President’s stance on illegal immigrants. This is destined to break America’s back.
There is nothing I support about the Democratic party. Too elitist for my taste. Limousine liberals are the scurvy of the earthy as far as I’m concerned.
So what’s a guy to do? Do stay home and not vote? No that is not an option, when you don’t vote, you forfeit the right to bitch, that would mean the end of Webb’s World.
My only solution is to be selective. Pick my races, look for some one who understands Joe and Molly Six Pack.
We have a lot of problems, home insurance, health insurance, price of gasoline and national security. I do not see abortion, nor gay marriages an issue any longer, there are much larger fish to fry.
That’s how I see it!
