Have you had your fill of the political ads this campaign season has birthed? Wow, it does sound like we will be voting for the lesser of two, and sometimes three evils.
I guess political consultants run these attack ads because they work, but I will be honest with you, they bore me, and I am afraid they are turning away some potentially good candidates who do not like playing in mud.
This has been the trend of recent years, smear your opponent, hopefully with the most damaging stuff just before election night so they do not have a chance to give a rebuttal.
Both major parties are equally responsible for the loss of civility in politics. It has become like a video game where the intent is to destroy the opponent as a person, not just a political entity.
I have my way of saying “I don’t like it” by simply not voting in a contest smeared with political feces
That’s how I see it!
