It did not take long after the Democrats seized control of the government before one former Clinton administration member, Robert Rubin suggested they “should raise taxes”. I guess he feels the economy can sustain such a dastardly act. An economy fueled by tax breaks compliments of George W. Bush.
You were warned, as soon as the Dems are in office taxes will go up, health care and gun control would be on the front burner. And now they are.
The Republicans blew a golden opportunity to change the income tax code, social security, and other issues which would have put more money in your pockets, but… they didn’t do it, and they had 12 years to accomplish this.
I can not blame you for giving up and not backing this gutless group. Gutless because every time the Democrats threatened to filibuster, the GOP went down faster than a prom dress.
Now we must deal with at least 2 years of oppressive government. Businesses will be stymied by new laws, your paycheck will be smaller, and you will lose more rights.
