Music Publisher & Writer - Job duties include creative management, writing, pitching songs, writer develop-ment, screening song material and producing demo sessions. Responsible for administration of: booking of musicians, filing sessions, paying musicians and singers and estimating budgets for sessions and mixing. Secured releases by artists in every field of music including Pop, Rock, Country, R&B, and Gospel. Artist such as: Kansas, The Best of Kansas, The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin, The Oak Ridge Boys, Janie Fricke, Rita Coolidge, Rita Coolidge Classics, Paul Overstreet, Paul Overstreet’s “Greatest Hits, also the National Theme song for “Project Literacy”learn to read for the CMA & CMT, “ Razzy Bailey, Pure Prairie League, Best of Pure Prairie League, Exile, The Impressions, Cynthia Clawson, Shirley Ceasar, Shirley Ceasar “Her Very Best”, Dobie Gray, Bonnie Bramblett, Red Sovine, Albertina Walker, Clinton Gregory, Ronnie McDowell, Neal McCoy, Susie Lochsinger, the re-release on Pure Prairie League featuring “Vince Gill”, and many others. These releases have yielded Gold, Platinum, Double, Triple and Quad Platinum Awards for sales in excess of One, Two, Three and Four Million Records respectively. Also five Greatest Hits packages.

Owner/Manager/Sales and Promotion:
Suite 900 Studio
Late 1983, designed and created a 24-track, fully-automated, state-of-the-art, record-ing studio in the penthouse suite of the United Artist Tower. Managed staff and scheduling. Responsible for booking such greats as: Glen Campbell, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Dobie Gray, Emmylou Harris, T, Graham Brown, Michael Martin Murphy, Gary Morris, The Impressions, The Chi-lites, Delbert McClinton, and a list of many others too long to detail. Also expanded the clientele to include most major record labels and national advertising campaigns including: Budweiser, McDonalds, Clorox, Coca-Cola, and Taco Bell. In less than four months Suite 900 Studio was featured on the cover of Mix Magazine and Pro-Sound News Calendar. Both publications are considered the premiere publications for the industry.

A/R, Production
Dealt extensively with recording artists and production of records. Put together budgets for record albums as well as selected material matching project goals and the artist’s talents. Experienced in securing record contracts and releases on MCA Records (LA) Edel Records, Sanctuary Records (foreign) and Ripete Records with the production of “The Impressions” RipeteRecords with production of “The Chi-lites”. Sony Music / Masters Series with production of “Jerry Butler”. Word Records with the production of “Dobie Gray”, also co-produced “The Fisk Jubilee Singers” which was nominated for the Dove Award.

Work with and represent Billy Meshel, President and Owner of Music & Media International Inc. Los Angeles. Brief background on Mr Meshel: Director of Creative Affairs Famous Music Group/Paramount, New York and LA. Founder and President of Arista Music LA, President of BMG Music Group LA. Billy has worked with songwriters, artist and publishing catalogs, such as Henry Mancini, Johnny Mercer, Mike Chapman, Exile, The Statler Bros., Eddie Rabbitt, Randy Travis, Merle Haggard, The Hollies, The Hues Corporation, Air Supply, Alan Parsons Project, The Sex Pistols, Hogie Carmichael Publishing, The Alman Brothers, The Eurythmics, Holland-Dozier-Holland, Michael Omartian and many others.

Currently, we are working with writers and publishing catalogs, such as Mike Chapman, Chad Brock, Exile, Eddie Rabbitt, Even Stevens, Chris LeDoux, Robert Hartman/Petra, John Elefante, Ashford & Simpson, Fame Catalog, Danny Elfman, Phil Coulter, Michael Rubini, Velvet Records, Trauma Records, Club Nouveau, Kenny McCloud and Soul 20/20 Entertainment. I am active in Production, Publishing, Writing, and Promotion of new projects.
